The following vehicle is accepted by Bolt and will qualify you to drive in Nigeria:

• A car, made from 2003 onwards, has four doors and fully functional air conditioning.
• A valid driver’s license 
• A valid insurance certificate
• Ownership proof
• A certificate of roadworthiness is required.
• Vehicle Inspection Report by AutoGenius
• Additional Lagos documents: For all routes, a State Hackney Permit and a vehicle body tag are required.

2. Enter your email address, phone number, and state of residence.

3. Fill in your personal and vehicle information.

4. Include any additional information you want to include, as well as your payment information.

5. After completing the Bolt online portal registration process, you will receive an email with all of the required information regarding upcoming training as well as instructions on how to have your documents reviewed.

6. On your smart device, download the Bolt Driver app (Android, iOS) and pick up your first passenger.

How much does a Bolt Driver make?

There are two ways that Bolt drivers can be compensated. Cash payments are made directly to the driver. Card payments are reflected in the driver’s ending balance and remitted at the start of each week.
