  • Research: When applying for a role, the first thing you should do is make sure you do enough findings about a company and the job role you’re applying for.
  1. Check if there are any supplementary responsibilities that the company might be looking out for which you don’t know about.
  2. Study the company to know if there’s anything missing in their team.
  3. Study the company’s statement, information, and annual record, and collate their differences with other companies in the sector or industry to know what you would love to help with.
  • CV update: After researching the company you’re applying to, you must adjust your achievement to the top 3 significant requirements in the job description. Expatiate more on how your skills equal the role and how you would love the possibilities that come with a call or them reaching out to you. Also, one of the vital requirements you must meet in writing your CV is to ensure that you write it with precise keywords to pass the ATS testing.
  • Job Application: After researching and adjusting your CV, apply early for that role. In a case where there are 150 candidates required for that role, Recruiters do not hold back until the deadline before going ahead with analyzing. Most companies' recruiters pick and set aside the first 20/30 who they think is the right or best fit for that role that applied earlier while they send rejection emails to the rest. It is advisable to send your application fast so you can get noticed.
  • Proactiveness: One of the many things a company reaches out for is how brave a candidate or employee can be. For you to get noticed when applying for a job role, you should be able to reach out to recruiters or Hiring Managers to improve the prospects of you appropriately getting an interview.
  • Interview: This level is the crucial stage of your getting noticed by employers. At the interview level, there are quite a few numbers of things you must do when making sure your application doesn’t get lost in the pile. Some of these are:
  1. Comfortability: Make yourself very comfortable to avoid being nervous about questions thrown at you. Make the interview conversational if you’re the type that does not like probing questions. Also, it is okay to ask for time to catch your breath if and when you need it.
  2. Sell yourself: for every question thrown at you, answer them with honesty and be open to making sure the employers understand why you’re the right candidate for that role. You can go to any length so far you're bringing evidence of things you have done that have increased the success rate of any team or company you find yourself in. When interviewers ask you to talk about yourself, do so but speak more about the difficulties you have resolved as a person or as a team.
  3. Ask interviewers questions: By doing this, you show how confident you are. Also, some candidates get scared of doing this, or they say most of the questions have been asked so, if you want to make an impression, you have to do things differently. There are not too much of questions. Let the interviewer understands that you are intrigued by the company. Make sure every question you ask is contingent. Do not go off the tangent.
