HP Inc To Layoff 6000 Workers In Coming Years

We have seen so many tech layoffs in 2022, and we are not sure if this will end anytime soon. The biggest computer maker in the world, HP Inc. has disclosed they will lay off thousands of Workers in the coming years. We have heard so many layoffs from different tech companies, and HP has joined the list. Over 6000 workers will be laid off in the next three years as reported by CNN.

The reason behind the lay off
They tech company said, the quarterly earnings has dropped by 11% compared with the one from a year ago. The company has a global workforce of around 51,000 workers, which is expected to be reduced by 4000 to 6000 in three years from now, 2025. HP Inc said it will take the action at the end of the Fiscal in 2025.
HP had previously revealed that they had a head count of some 51,000 workers. The HP CEO and President, Enrique Lores in his statement said, the company's Future Ready Strategy, will help them to better satisfy their customers. Also, give out long term value creation, simply by reducing cost and reinvesting in the vital growth initiative for the future of the company.

The Tech Layoff companies
This news makes HP Inc the latest tech company to job cuts from their organization. Meta who is the Parent to Facebook announced cutting of 11,000 workers from it's company. Another tech company is Amazon, who also talked about cutting off it's members. Elon Musk and Twitter also made the news as they decided to lay off thousands of workers as well.
