Job Summary

  • We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Financial Officer to handle our company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled financial executive with a proven track record of driving financial growth, optimizing operations, and mitigating risk. As a key member of our team, the finance officer will play a crucial role in shaping our company's long-term financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive financial plans and budgets.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and forecasts.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial health and progress.

Financial Operations:

  • Oversee all aspects of accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Manage cash flow and treasury functions.
  • Implement robust internal controls and compliance procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and timely tax filings.

Risk Management:

  • Assess and mitigate financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • MBA is an added advantage
  • CPA, CFA or ICAN certification is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior finance role.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS.
  • Proven track record of financial leadership and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software, Microsoft applicationsand systems.
