- We are seeking a skilled and experienced Architectural Engineer to support our design and construction projects with technical expertise and leadership.
- This role involves collaborating with the project team, managing the planning process, ensuring compliance with standards, and driving innovation in architectural engineering.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, technical proficiency in building systems, and a passion for sustainable design practices.
Responsibilities
Project Planning & Management:
- Analyze and interpret architectural and engineering plans, specifications, and building codes.
- Oversee the planning stages to ensure proper alignment with project goals, timelines, and budgets.
Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical guidance throughout the design, construction, and maintenance phases of building structures.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards, making recommendations for improvements when necessary.
Site Inspections:
- Perform regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure that work adheres to design specifications and safety protocols.
- Identify and resolve any technical issues encountered during construction.
Quality Assurance:
- Enforce quality control procedures to guarantee high standards of construction and materials.
- Review and approve construction materials and components to ensure they meet project requirements.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with the project team to ensure effective integration of engineering solutions with overall project goals.
- Communicate regularly with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of project progress, including daily logs, inspections, and technical documentation.
- Prepare detailed engineering reports and presentations to support decision-making and project milestones.
Sustainability & Innovation:
- Advocate for sustainable design practices and incorporate innovative solutions to enhance the environmental impact and efficiency of the project.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in architectural engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and project management principles.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other architectural design tools (e.g., Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, etc.).
- Expertise in creating, editing, and reviewing architectural drawings and plans using industry-standard software.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Passion for sustainable design and innovative engineering solutions.
