Job Description
- Draft and review a wide variety of legal agreements.
- Provide legal advice/ opinion on corporate legal issues and business matters.
- Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings.
- Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
- Provide the full spectrum of company secretarial services to external clients on an outsourced basis.

- Ensure the proper safe keeping and update of the company registers, statutory books, and corporate seal.
- Managing clients’ cases from start to finish.
- Ensure clients’ adherence to extant laws and regulations.
- Monitor the maintenance of the registers and other records required to be maintained and/or filed by the organization under the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA 2020).
- Draft guidelines, policies, and procedures documents.
- Assess the company’s/clients’ corporate governance practices and provide advice on how to improve them.
- Incorporate new businesses and develop the governance structures.
- Assist in identifying, analysing, and evaluating legal risks and developing risk mitigation strategies to protect the company/client’s, assets, and stakeholders’ interest respectively.
- Conduct land & title searches as well as perfection of title.
Requirements
- Proven 3 - 6 years post NYSC experience.
- A graduate degree of law from a reputable university (minimum of second class lower).
- Member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
- ICSAN Certification will be an added advantage.
- CIPM Certification will be an added advantage.
Salary
N130,000 / Month.
