Job Title: Audit (Senior)

Reports to: Audit Manager

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and motivated Audit Senior to join our team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for leading audit engagements, supervising audit staff, and ensuring that audits are completed in accordance with professional standards and firm policies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead audit engagements, including risk assessments, audit procedures, and audit reporting
• Supervise and review the work of audit staff, providing guidance and feedback as necessary
• Ensure that audits are completed in accordance with professional standards, firm policies, and regulatory requirements
• Identify and assess audit risks, and develop strategies to mitigate those risks
• Communicate with clients and audit committee members, providing updates on audit progress and findings
• Review and finalize audit reports, including financial statements and audit opinions
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, including identifying opportunities to provide additional services
• Stay up-to-date with professional standards, regulatory requirements, and industry developments
• Participate in firm-wide initiatives and contribute to the development of the audit practice

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
• Professional certification (CPA, CA, or equivalent) required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing, preferably with a public accounting firm
• Strong knowledge of professional standards (GAAP, GAAS, etc.) and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in audit software and technology

Nice to Have:

• Experience with audit software and technology, such as AuditBoard, TeamMate, or IDEA
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards (e.g. SOX, HIPAA, etc.)
• Experience with audit data analytics and data visualization tools
• Certification in data analytics or audit-related certifications (e.g. CIDA, CISA, etc.).
