Job Description

  • We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Background Verification Officer to join our team.
  • As a Background Verification Officer, you will be responsible for conducting thorough background checks on individuals, verifying the accuracy of information, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive background checks on individuals, including criminal records, employment history, education, and other relevant information
  • Verify the accuracy of information provided by candidates or employees
  • Utilize various databases, search engines, and other resources to gather information
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on findings
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Collaborate with HR departments, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to provide verification services

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in background verification or a related field
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Salary Range
N150,000 - N200,000 / month.
