Job Description
- We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Background Verification Officer to join our team.
- As a Background Verification Officer, you will be responsible for conducting thorough background checks on individuals, verifying the accuracy of information, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive background checks on individuals, including criminal records, employment history, education, and other relevant information
- Verify the accuracy of information provided by candidates or employees
- Utilize various databases, search engines, and other resources to gather information
- Prepare and present detailed reports on findings
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Collaborate with HR departments, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to provide verification services
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 2+ years of experience in background verification or a related field
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Salary Range
N150,000 - N200,000 / month.
