We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Bartender

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Temporary
Work Hours: 6-7-hour shifts within the lounge's operational hours (12 PM-2 AM)

Job Summary

  • The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a professional, efficient, and friendly manner.
  • This role requires a high level of skill in mixology, excellent customer service abilities, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, and standard drinks, following established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain consistency in drink quality, presentation, and taste.
  • Greet customers warmly and provide personalized service to enhance their experience.
  • Offer recommendations and assist customers in making beverage choices.
  • Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with all necessary supplies and ingredients.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to management.
  • Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations while handling food and beverages.
  • Accurately process transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Manage cash, credit, and debit card payments efficiently.
  • Work closely with barbacks, waitstaff, and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Customer satisfaction scores and repeat patronage.
  • Accuracy in order preparation and delivery.
  • Compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Efficiency in managing inventory and minimizing waste.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree / FSLC / HND / NCE / OND / SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification with 1-3 years work experience.
  • Proven experience as a bartender in a hospitality setting.
  • Proficiency in mixology, with the ability to create and adapt recipes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
  • Knowledge of alcoholic beverage laws and regulations.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Compensation
N120,000 - N150,000 per month (depending on experience).
