Objective of this Role
- Identify and evaluate potential sales leads through networking, cold calling and online research.
- Communicate effectively to foster relationships with new and existing partners.
- Plan and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Build a deep understanding of our products and present them effectively to clients.
Core Responsibilities
Lead Generation:
- Identifying potential clients and markets through research and networking.
- Developing and implementing lead generation strategies to attract new customers.
- Utilizing various channels such as cold calling, email marketing, and social media to reach out to prospects.
- Leading and managing LSL's consultative sales process from lead generation through contract negotiation and close.
- Managing dedicated and non-dedicated resources to deliver significant new business across the organization
- Nurture prospects to find specific opportunities, prepare & oversee the RFP development process and actively work to close new business.
- This individual will be responsible for all lead generation programs including industry conference speaking, lead generation campaigns, etc.
Client Acquisition:
- Building strong relationships with potential clients through effective communication and relationship-building skills.
- Understanding client needs and tailoring solutions to meet their specific requirements.
- Presenting product or service offerings in a compelling and persuasive manner.
- Negotiating deals and closing sales to acquire new clients.
Business Development Strategy:
- Developing and executing a strategic business development plan to achieve revenue goals.
- Identifying new market opportunities and exploring potential partnerships.
- Analysing market trends and competitive landscapes to inform business decisions.
- Collaborating with other departments, such as marketing and sales, to align efforts and maximize results.
Relationship Management:
- Nurturing existing client relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Providing excellent customer service and addressing client concerns promptly.
- Staying updated on client needs and proactively offering solutions.
- Building long-term partnerships with key clients and stakeholders.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Market Research: Conducting market research to identify industry trends and potential opportunities.
- Sales Forecasting: Developing accurate sales forecasts and tracking progress against targets.
- Sales Reporting: Preparing regular sales reports to analyze performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Team Management: Leading and mentoring a team of sales representatives, if applicable.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in sales or business development roles.
- Must be able to independently manage lead generation and qualification, work with internal teams to build team-selling approach, call on accounts, develop outstanding sales proposals, and effectively close new business initiatives.
- Provide the sales leadership to capitalize on opportunities for cross selling of all LSL’s service offerings.
- Must have excellent writing and presentation skills.
- Must be able to handle highly flexible work schedule including heavy travel.
- Experience in IT or Service project management
- An accomplished leader with strong organizational skills who can spearhead sales initiatives and build strong relationships with LSL’s target customers
- Effective communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Adept in networking, project management and problem-solving.
- Possess strong creative and strategic thinking skills to develop effective sales strategies through delegation, prioritisation and execution for business growth.
- Ability to adapt to the company’s culture effectively and lead other teams.
- He or she must have a working knowledge of database marketing, analytics, CRM, marketing strategy and agency services and a strong willingness and ability to drive LSL’s consultative sales process.
