Job Description

  • Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Manager located in Lekki to drive sales, revenue growth, and branding efforts, particularly within the diaspora market.
  • This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in sales, marketing, team management, and community engagement.
  • The ideal candidate will excel at building relationships with diaspora communities and fostering growth.

Responsibilities
Branding & Marketing (Offline and Online):

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to build Zira’s brand visibility in the diaspora market.
  • Oversee digital marketing efforts, including social media, email marketing, and website optimization.
  • Organize and manage offline branding activities such as community events, workshops, and diaspora engagements.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to design compelling marketing materials and content.

Community Growth:

  • Foster and grow a vibrant community of Zira users and stakeholders within the diaspora.
  • Build trust and loyalty by engaging with community members and addressing their needs.
  • Create initiatives that encourage word-of-mouth referrals and long-term client relationships.
  • Actively participate in community forums, events, and social platforms relevant to the diaspora audience.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee daily business operations, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and projects.
  • Develop and implement policies to ensure operational efficiency, consistency, and adherence to company standards.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize operational processes to improve service delivery and client satisfaction.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and manage a high-performing team, ensuring clear goals and objectives aligned with the company’s vision.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and ensure ongoing professional development of the team.

Business Development:

  • Identify and explore new business opportunities and partnerships, especially within the diaspora market.
  • Develop strategies to expand Zira’s reach and brand presence within the target market.
  • Work closely with marketing and other departments to craft campaigns and initiatives that resonate with diaspora communities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s Degree is a plus).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar business management role.
  • Proven success in developing sales, branding, and marketing strategies for international or diaspora audiences.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in business software tools (e.g., MS Office, CRM systems).
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
