- We're seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our restaurant team.
- As a Cashier, you'll provide exceptional customer service, process transactions accurately, and maintain a clean and organized dining environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers, take orders, and process payments.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) system with accuracy and speed.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and mobile payments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area.
- Provide customers with menus, promotions, and loyalty program information.
- Answer phone calls, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
- Process take-out and delivery orders.
- Manage cash handling, including counting change and balancing till.
- Follow restaurant policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an OND / NCE qualification with 2 - 3 years relevant work experience as a cashier or in a related role.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash.
- Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant software.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Desirable Qualities:
- Previous experience in the food service industry.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and procedures.
