Job Summary
- We are currently seeking a Collections Specialist to join our team.
- As a Collection Specialist , you will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding debts from clients.
Your duties and responsibilities will include
- Contacting clients via phone, email, or in-person to collect outstanding debts
- Negotiating payment plans with clients who are unable to pay in full
- Updating client records and maintaining accurate account information
- Resolving client disputes and complaints related to outstanding debts
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure timely and accurate billing and invoicing
- Preparing and submitting reports on collections activities and progress.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in collections or a similar role
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collections software.
Salary
N78,000 monthly (plus insentives up to N20,000 depending on experience and qualifications).
