Job Title: Confidental Secretary
Location: Polytechnic, Alimosho - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Principal Officers (Rector, Deputy Rectors, etc).
Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Confidential Secretary to provide administrative support to the Principal Officers of the polytechnic situated at Alimosho area of Lagos state.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for handling confidential and sensitive information, preparing documents and reports, and maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Principal Officers, including preparing documents, reports, and presentations.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information, maintaining discretion and confidentiality at all times.
- Manage the Principal Officers' schedules, including arranging meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare and coordinate correspondence, including letters, memos, and emails.
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including staff, students, and external partners.
- Develop and maintain filing systems, both physical and electronic, to ensure easy access to information.
- Provide support for events, meetings, and conferences, including preparing agendas, minutes, and other materials.
Requirements
- BSc or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Secretarial Studies or Office Technology and Management.
- NYSC discharge certificate.
- 3-5 years of experience as a confidential secretary.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must reside within or in close proximity to Alimosho area of Lagos.
Additional Requirements:
- Evidence of professional certification, such as Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) or Certified Professional Secretary (CPS).
- Experience working in a similar role in a tertiary institution.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy.
