Job Title: Diction Teacher
Location: Lekki-Epe, Lagos
Employment Type: Part-time
Position Summary
- The Diction Teacher will be responsible for developing and delivering effective diction and public speaking programs to students.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of vocal techniques, speech and language development, and performance skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement diction and public speaking programs for students of all ages.
- Conduct individual and group sessions to improve students' pronunciation, articulation, and vocal projection.
- Assist students in developing confidence and effective communication skills.
- Prepare students for public speaking events, such as debates, presentations, and performances.
- Provide feedback and guidance to students on their speech and presentation skills.
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate diction and communication skills into the overall curriculum.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology, Drama, English, or a related field.
- 2+ years experience in teaching diction, public speaking, or related areas.
- Strong understanding of vocal techniques, speech and language development, and performance skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
