Job Description

  • Our client seeks a creative, disciplined, and detail-oriented Experiential & Operations Manager to manage its operations.
  • This role combines operational oversight ensuring optimal utilization of the facility, managing curated activities, training spaces schedule, and delivering immersive experiential events. The ideal candidate must be innovative, witty, be a strategic thinker, and possess operational expertise to ensure profitability, client satisfaction, and audience engagement.

Responsibilities
As an Operation Manager, his key responsibilities Includes:
Operational Management:

  • Oversee the hub’s 40sqm training/workshop space, ensuring optimal usage for internal and external purposes. Periodically managing schedules for all curated activities of our creative facility for rentals (hubs), and major events.
  • Manage inquiries, bookings, and contracts for the hub’s facilities, including conference rooms, studios, and flexible office spaces.
  • Ensure seamless execution of internal workshops, training sessions, book club meetings, writers’ room sessions, and rental services.
  • Supervises assistants during high-traffic periods and events. Assigning tasks and providing leadership to ensure smooth event execution and daily operations.
  • Document and provide detailed post-event evaluation & reporting for continuous improvements
  • Ensure health, safety, and legal compliance within daily operations and during events

Concept Development:

  • Craft innovative experiential concepts that align with the company's vision and client expectations, enhancing profitability and optimizing space utilization.
  • Integrate dynamic and immersive elements to elevate audience engagement in experiential events

Budgeting & Resource Management:

  • Oversee revenue from rentals and curated activities to achieve financial targets while developing and managing budgets for events ensuring cost-effective sourcing of vendors, suppliers, and talent.
  • Client & Stakeholder Relations
  • Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with clients, sponsors, and stakeholders, actively seeking feedback to enhance offerings.
  • Partner with local businesses and creative organizations to foster collaborations and increase visibility.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with 3 - 5 years work experience.

Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 / month.
