Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Diagnoseand deliver holistic and evidence-based care to patients, treat acute andchronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions for patients of all ages
- Promotehealth through vaccinations, screenings, lifestyle counseling, and wellnessprograms that address physical, mental, and preventive health needs.
- PerformClinical assessments, diagnose medical conditions, and develop individualizedtreatment plans-perform minor outpatient procedures and manage referrals forspecialized care when necessary
- Providefirst-line treatment and urgent or stabilization for patients in criticalconditions within the facility’s capacity
- Collaboratewith specialists, therapists, allied healthcare professionals, and communityresources to provide and ensure seamless integrated patient care.
- Engagein medical research, mentor junior doctors, and provide training sessions forhealthcare teams.
Requirements:
- MedicalDegree (MBBS, MD) with Specialization in Family Medicine
- MDCN Certified
- Board Certifiedin Family Medicine
- Aminimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Family Medicine (or generalpractice after being certified)
- Experienceworking in a private institution is an added advantage
- Familiarity with ethical and legal issues in patient care
- Proficiency in Managing acute and chronic medicalsolutions
- Knowledgeof Local health policies and regulations in Nigeria
- Familiarity with electronic healthrecords (EHR) and medical software.
- Ability to work collaboratively within the multi-disciplinary healthcare team
- Strong understanding ofPharmacology and Medication Management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
