Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and monitor beer-filling machines, ensuring they run smoothly and at optimal efficiency.
  • Check filled containers for defects (e.g., underfilled or overfilled bottles, cans, or kegs) and ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Perform regular maintenance on filling machines, troubleshoot malfunctions, and report issues to the maintenance team.
  • Follow sanitation procedures for all equipment, containers, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and prevent contamination.
  • Control the beer flow rate, temperature, and pressure to ensure the proper filling process and prevent spillage.
  • Ensure that containers are properly sealed, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with tracking inventory levels of filled containers and raw materials (e.g., bottles, cans ).
  • Maintain accurate records of production runs, quality checks, and any issues or changes during the filling process.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and following all standard operating procedures.
  • Quickly address any issues that arise during the filling process, including adjusting machinery settings or fixing mechanical problems.
  • Work closely with other operators, maintenance teams, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, beverage production, or machine operation is preferred.
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot filling equipment; familiarity with automated machinery and controls.
  • Ability to detect minor defects in the filling process and ensure quality control standards are maintained.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy boxes, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to quickly identify and resolve issues related to filling equipment or product quality.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with other staff in the brewery.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to safety standards in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require specialized training or certification).


Working Conditions:

  • Work in a brewery or production facility, which may include exposure to loud machinery, heat, and moving equipment.
  • Shift work may be required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on production schedules.
