Job Summary

A company in Abuja and Lagos require the services of a research expert with strong back ground in oil and gas and capacity to analyse gas volumes produced and flared using both geological , conventional and satellite technologies including AI.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, market developments, and emerging technologies.
Analyze geological and geophysical data to identify resource opportunities.
Develop predictive models to assess reserves and production potential.
Collaborate with engineering and technology teams to develop innovative solutions for oil and gas extraction and processing.
Evaluate new technologies for their feasibility and potential impact on operations.
Research and propose strategies for reducing environmental impact and improving energy efficiency.
Assess renewable energy integration opportunities within oil and gas operations.
Maintain comprehensive databases of research findings, resource assessments, and project outcomes.
Leverage advanced software tools for data visualization and interpretation.
Provide research support for compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Stay updated on regulatory changes and their implications for the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geology, Geophysics, Environmental Science, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in oil and gas research, exploration, or production.

Salary
N400,000 - N550,000 Monthly.
