Job Summary

  • We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as Head, Claims.
  • This pivotal role is critical in ensuring efficient and customer-focused management of our claims operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the claims department, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize claims processing and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze claims data to identify trends, recommend improvements, and reduce operational risks.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless and efficient claims management.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., ACII, CIIN) is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in claims management, with at least 3years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance regulations, claims processes, and industry standards.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on delivering results and driving operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency in claims management software and tools.
