Interior Design Architect


Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Visiting job sites to analyze space availability, design needs and the purpose of the space
  • Attending client meetings to understand the design needs and client preferences regarding interior styles and colors
  • Creating initial design sketches, color themes and ideas based on client requirements and space availability
  • Getting approval from the client before creating CAD designs and detailed briefs for workers and supervisors
  • Hiring contractors and vendors to implement design ideas, such as Carpenters, Painters, Plumbers, Electricians and Artists
  • Overseeing the buying process of all raw materials and items required to complete the project
  • Arranging client visits and keeping everyone involved in the project appraised of its progress
  • Ensuring project completion within the allocated budget and timeline
  • Develop and present concepts that meet the client's vision, budget, and functionality
  • Create detailed plans that include lighting, color schemes, furnishings, materials, and layouts
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure designs are implemented correctly 
  • Create solution diagrams that include CAD designs, 2D & 3Dmodels
  • Manage project timeline


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • Masters Degree.
  • Working experience 3-5 years.
  • Proven experience in interior design or architecture, with a strong portfolio showcasing completed projects.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D modeling tools, and Adobe Creative Suite, CAD-3D Max, Revit and other related software.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of materials, finishes, and furnishings.
  • Ability to balance creativity with functionality, budget constraints, and timelines.
  • Understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and construction methods.
