Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of architectural designs.
- Produce detailed drawings and make any necessary corrections.
- Compile project specifications.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Conduct site visits to check the status of projects and make sure contractors are following design plans.
- Use software to create detailed 2D or 3D designs.
- Make necessary changes to designs based on feedback from senior architects and clients.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools.
Requirements and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
- Proven experience as a Junior Architect or Architectural Intern.
- Strong portfolio to prove artistic skills.
- Excellent knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, and SketchUp.
- A keen eye for detail and good problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and team working skills.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
