Job Title: Junior Structural Engineer

Role Summary
- We are looking for a Junior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. This full-time, on-site role involves supporting senior engineers in designing, analyzing, and overseeing construction projects.
- The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge in structural engineering principles, a passion for innovative design, and a desire to grow their expertise in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and analysis of structural components for residential and other construction projects.
- Perform structural calculations under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD or Revit to draft and model project designs.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure designs meet local codes, regulations, and quality standards.
- Conduct on-site inspections to monitor project progress and compliance with structural plans.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation to support project requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of material specifications and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
- Stay updated with the latest engineering technologies and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
- 0 - 3 years of experience in structural engineering or construction-related roles.
- Basic proficiency in structural calculations and analysis.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit); knowledge of RISA is a plus.
- Understanding of construction materials, methods, and local building codes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges in the construction industry.
- Professional certification or registration (or in progress) is a plus.

Salary
N150,000 - N250,000 / month.
