Job Title: Junior Structural Engineer

Role Summary

• We are looking for a Junior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. This full-time, on-site role involves supporting senior engineers in designing, analyzing, and overseeing construction projects.
• The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge in structural engineering principles, a passion for innovative design, and a desire to grow their expertise in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of structural components for residential and other construction projects.
• Perform structural calculations under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Use computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD or Revit to draft and model project designs.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure designs meet local codes, regulations, and quality standards.
• Conduct on-site inspections to monitor project progress and compliance with structural plans.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation to support project requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of material specifications and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
• Stay updated with the latest engineering technologies and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
• 0 - 3 years of experience in structural engineering or construction-related roles.
• Basic proficiency in structural calculations and analysis.
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit); knowledge of RISA is a plus.
• Understanding of construction materials, methods, and local building codes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges in the construction industry.
• Professional certification or registration (or in progress) is a plus.
