Job Description

Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute long-term strategic plans aligned with the company's vision and mission.
  • Identify new market opportunities and trends in the media industry to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to set business goals and drive growth initiatives.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee all aspects of operations, including editorial, production, marketing, and distribution.
  • Ensure seamless workflow, adherence to timelines, and high-quality output across all departments.
  • Monitor and optimize resource allocation, operational efficiency, and cost management.

Financial Oversight:

  • Develop, manage, and monitor the annual budget to ensure profitability and sustainability.
  • Analyze financial performance and implement measures to achieve revenue and cost targets.
  • Oversee advertising, sponsorship, and other revenue-generation efforts.

Content and Creative Direction:

  • Ensure the delivery of innovative, engaging, and relevant content across various platforms (print, digital, broadcast, etc.).
  • Collaborate with editorial and creative teams to uphold the media house’s brand and quality standards.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Recruit, mentor, and retain top talent across all functions of the organization.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing workplace culture.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities for staff.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including advertisers, sponsors, partners, and regulatory authorities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and media appearances.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards in all business operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Media, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 3years of senior management experience in the media industry or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and operational efficiency.
