Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails, from classic recipes to unique, custom drinks using fresh ingredients and premium spirits.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, offering recommendations, and creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere.
  • Maintain a clean, organized bar area, ensuring all equipment, glassware, and ingredients are stocked and ready for service.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in cocktails, spirits, and ingredients.
  • Suggest new drink ideas and improve existing ones to meet customer preferences.
  • Work closely with other bartenders, servers, and management to ensure smooth operations, quick service, and guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service and follow all local laws and company policies regarding alcohol consumption, age verification, and intoxication.
  • Assist in setting up and managing special events, parties, or themed nights by creating signature cocktails or themed drink menus.
  • Clean and sanitize the bar area, including surfaces, tools, and equipment, to meet health and safety standards.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a mixologist or bartender, preferably in a nightclub or high-volume bar setting.
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and bartending techniques.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, energetic attitude.
  • Ability to lift heavy items, stand for long periods and work in a loud, busy environment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service.


Additional Skills:

  • Creativity in designing unique cocktails and drinks.
  • Knowledge of wine and beer pairings.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with mixology techniques like muddling, shaking, stirring, garnishing, etc.
  • Ability to carry heavy trays of drinks or equipment for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a noisy, high-energy atmosphere with varied lighting.
