- Employee relations: Managing employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary matters
- Initiate and drive new strategies with the aim of increasing customer base of the organization
- Ensuring safety: Ensure that facilities and programs are safe and accessible for participants.
- Communicating with the public: Respond to inquiries and concerns from the public, and explain rules and regulations
- Ensuring alignment with objectives: Ensure that recreation programs are aligned with the city\'s strategic objectives and within budget constraints
- Presents reports; monitors compliance with laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Maintaining facilities: Ensure that facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Collaborate with different stakeholders to organize, coordinate and promote programs, events and reserved facility usage.
- Recruitment: Overseeing the recruitment and selection process.
- Performance management: Administering an effective performance appraisal system
- Work environment: Fostering a constructive work environment
Requirement
- B.Sc/HND in any Management related discipline or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3-4 years’ work experience in a similar industry and role
- Good communication skills in English Language
- Highly motivated, result oriented individual who can work independently, under minimal supervision.
