Operations Support Specialist


Job Description

Position Summary

  • The Operations Support Specialist will play a vital role in the company’s logistics activities, supporting the management of existing freight operations and expanding Air and Ocean Freight businesses.
  • This position requires operational coordination, customer relationship management,  identifying new market opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support daily operations, including bookings, regulatory filings, tracking shipments, and resolve logistics issues.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with clients, carriers, partners and vendors.
  • Assist in growing the Air and Ocean Freight business by identifying new leads and opportunities.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of shipping documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze operational data to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide operational reports and updates to the General Manager.
  • Any other responsibility as may be assigned by the General Manager

Job Specification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in marketing, preferably in logistics or related industries.
  • Familiarity with Air and Ocean Freight processes and regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace and logistics management systems.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and time management skills.
  • Great interpersonal and team-work skills.
  • Creativity and attention to detail.
