We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: PAKONA Machine Specialist
Location: Lagos
Core Responsibilities
- Operate PAKONA machines to manufacture products according to specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime.
- Monitor product quality and adjust machine settings as needed.
- Collaborate with quality control team to ensure product consistency.
- Implement safety procedures and adhere to OSHA regulations.
- Train new operators on PAKONA machine operation and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Technical Competencies
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience operating PAKONA machines.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- OSHA certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Availability for overtime and flexible scheduling.
- Experience with other manufacturing equipment (e.g., conveyor systems).
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Certification in machine operation or maintenance.
- Experience with quality control procedures.
