Responsibilities:

Accurately dispense prescribed medications to patients.
Review prescriptions for accuracy and ensure compatibility with patient health conditions.
Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and storage.
Maintain an adequate stock of medications and other pharmaceutical supplies.
Conduct regular inventory checks and reorder items as necessary.
Ensure the proper storage of medications in compliance with regulations.
Adhere to all pharmaceutical regulations and laws.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for prescriptions, inventory, and patient interactions.
Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory authorities.
Provide professional advice on drug interactions and contraindications.
Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly.
Build relationships with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures for the pharmacy
Train and supervise pharmacy technicians and assistants.
Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, safe, and conducive for patients.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D).
Licensed by the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
Minimum of 2 years in a retail or hospital pharmacy (specific experience optional).
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical standards and drug regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using pharmacy management software.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
