Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide pharmaceutical care inline with proper ethics and regulations.
- Provide excellent customerservice through tailored health advice and quick resolution of issues.
- Direct customer engagementservices through outreaches, texts, and calls
- Efficiently dispense prescription medicationsaccurately and provide patient counseling with ethical standards, and bestpractices
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals toensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide personalized patient counseling onmedication usage, potential side effects, and proper storage.
- Address any concerns or questions patients may haveregarding their medications.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressinginquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a positive and professionaldemeanor.
- The Pharmacist is the nextpromoter of the business, ensures all staff adhere to the values, and follows allprocesses
- Document customer's recordaccording to the agreed profile
- Monitor shelf life and flag 6 months to expiry products
- Monitor and recommend inventoryto ensure customer's expectations are met through close monitoring of stocklevels, recording out-of-stock, and recommending brands to list on shelf
- Collaborate withother pharmacy staff to maintain a smooth workflow and also manage theperformance of assigned junior officers.
- Duly resolve all conflicts and escalateappropriately
- Oversee inventorymanagement, including ordering, receiving, and restocking medications. Monitorexpiration dates and remove outdated drugs from inventory.
- Provide monthly reports as may berequired
- Perform other duties as may be delegated
Requirements:
- Pharm.D. degree.
- Minimum of 2 years’ post-NYSC experience.
- Experience working in a pharmacy
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulationsand standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonalskills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in ateam-oriented environment.
- Familiaritywith pharmaceutical software system
