We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Pharmacologist
Location: Maryland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
Medication Dispensing:
- Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients.
- Provide detailed information on proper medication usage, dosage, and potential side effects.
Patient Counseling:
- Offer expert advice and counseling to patients on the use of prescription and over-the-counter medications.
- Address patient concerns and questions regarding their medications.
Pharmaceutical Care:
- Monitor patient medication therapies to ensure effectiveness and safety.
- Conduct medication reviews and manage drug interactions.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain an accurate inventory of medications and supplies.
- Ensure the proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical products.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations related to pharmacy practice.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of medications and patient information.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacology from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a pharmacy.
- Candidates must reside in or around Maryland, Lagos.
Salary
N120,000 - N150,000 monthly.
