We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Phones & Mobile Engineer

Location: Lagos
Department: Technical Services
Reporting to: Technical Manager

Key Responsibilities
Diagnosis and Repairs:

  • Perform accurate diagnostics of hardware and software issues on mobile phones and other mobile devices.
  • Conduct repairs, including screen replacements, battery replacements, software upgrades, and board-level repairs.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all repairs meet the company's quality standards and are completed within designated timelines.
  • Conduct functionality tests on devices before and after repairs to guarantee customer satisfaction.

Inventory and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, tools, and replacement parts used.
  • Manage and report stock levels of spare parts and tools, ensuring availability for efficient service delivery.

Customer Interaction:

  • Provide professional technical support to customers by explaining issues, repair processes, and maintenance tips.
  • Address customer complaints and follow up to ensure resolutions meet expectations.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Contribute to training and knowledge-sharing sessions with colleagues to improve team skills and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a mobile phone technician or engineer.
  • Certification in electronics or related technical fields is a plus.
  • Familiarity with major phone brands and their repair processes.

Expectations:

  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mobile devices, with hands-on experience in software diagnostics and hardware repairs.
  • Efficiency: Complete repairs promptly while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure all repair documentation is accurate and devices are thoroughly tested.
  • Customer Service Skills: Display a customer-first attitude, with clear and professional communication.
  • Accountability: Maintain strict adherence to company policies, especially regarding the handling of customer devices and tools.
