Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Principal Lecturer in Statistics to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and assess students in Statistics courses
- Develop and review curriculum for Statistics programs
- Conduct research and publish scholarly articles in reputable journals
- Supervise students' projects and research work
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior lecturers
- Participate in departmental and polytechnic-wide activities
Requirements
- M.Sc Degree in Statistics
- NYSC discharge certificate
- Member of the Statistical Association of Nigeria (SAN)
- 8-10 years of teaching experience in a polytechnic or university setting
- Strong teaching and research skill
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership and management experience.
Remuneration
