Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and organized Procurement Officer to manage our procurement processes and ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining good rapport with vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Source and evaluate suppliers, conduct market research, and analyze market trends
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers
  • Manage the procurement process, including requisition, tendering, and contract administration
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on procurement activities
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
  • Professional certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPP) is an added advantage
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software
