Job Summary:
- The Production Manager will oversee all aspects of the tailoring production process to ensure high-quality output, timely delivery, and efficient use of resources. This role involves managing a team of tailors and support staff, maintaining quality standards, optimizing workflow, and ensuring client satisfaction in alignment with Company's brand values and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet client orders and deadlines.
- Allocate tasks and ensure the workforce operates efficiently.
- Address and resolve production-related staff issues.
- Supervise tailors, cutters, and other production staff.
- Inspect finished outfits to ensure they meet the company’s quality standards.
- Implement quality assurance processes to minimize errors and defects.
- Work closely with designers and clients to maintain style and design accuracy.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization to improve production efficiency.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions in tailoring and outfit production.
- Minimize waste of materials and optimize resource utilization.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.
- Collaborate with the sales and design teams to align production with customer demands.
- Prepare regular production reports detailing progress, challenges, and solutions.
Key Requirements:
- BSc/HND in Business Administration, Fashion Technology, or related fields.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a tailoring or fashion production company.
- Strong understanding of tailoring techniques and garment production processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
