Responsibilities
- Purchase goods and equipment for the organization
- Source for suppliers based on price, quality and availability
- Develop vendor agreements and establish relationships
- Maintain a database of vendors and suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance and negotite supplier contrcts
- Assess vendors through in person visits and interview
- Monitor and report inventory levels.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND qualification with 1 - 3 years work experience.
- Proven experience as a purchaser preferably in the hospitality industry
- Ability to negotiatr pricing and terms
- Strong use of Microsoft package
- Excellent verbal and writtten communication skills
- Familarity with Lagos markets and road networks
- Knowledge of procument and inventory terminologies.
