Quality Control Specialist


Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the company products meet both the external and internal quality requirements.
  • Ensure compliance and surpass customer expectations.
  • Ensure that standard operation procedures are followed in dispatching company’s products.
  • Ensure laboratory sanitation are met to yield effective results.
  • Responsible for stocktaking of laboratory equipment and reagents for record keeping.
  • Conduct, monitor and report shelf life of the company's products.
  • Create and manage external and internal check sample program and laboratory checks.
  • Carry out other tasks as may be assigned periodically.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of Quality Control experience in the food industry.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards such as HACCP, ISO 22000, or FSSC 22000.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel…etc).
