Residential Nanny


Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and ensure the safety of the child(ren) at all times.
  • Participate in age-appropriate activities to support physical, emotional, and cognitive development (e.g., play, crafts, reading, educational outings).
  • Assist with homework and educational tasks as required.
  • Ensure the timely preparation of healthy meals and snacks for the child(ren).
  • Maintain a consistent routine, including naps, meals, and bedtime.
  • Provide basic medical care under parental guidance, such as administering prescribed medications or attending to minor injuries.

Household Duties:

  • Clean and organize play areas, toys, and the child(ren)’s living spaces.
  • Manage the child(ren)’s laundry, ensuring they are washed, ironed, folded and kept properly.
  • Keep track of and restock child-related supplies (e.g., school supplies, personal hygiene).

General Support:

  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding the child(ren)’s activities, and any concerns.
  • Transport the child(ren) to and from school, appointments, and extracurricular activities.
  • Occasionally assist with light household tasks.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in childcare or a related role.
  • Proven experience as a teacher
  • Must be able to use a computer
