Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth and meet revenue targets.
- Identify business opportunities and customer segments in the Nigerian market, particularly within the fintech and financial services sectors.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales initiatives with product launches and marketing campaigns.
- Build relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for major clients, resolving any issues and providing support as needed.
- Identify potential clients, generate leads, and maintain an active sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Manage the sales funnel from lead generation through closing, with detailed tracking and reporting on conversion rates and other KPIs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market developments to identify potential threats and opportunities.
- Provide insights and feedback to the product and marketing teams to help shape the product roadmap and go-to-market strategies.
- Conduct effective sales presentations and negotiate contracts that align with company standards and client needs.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, ensuring timely and successful delivery of solutions and services to clients.
- Mentor and train junior sales team members, fostering a results-oriented and supportive team environment.
- Set performance goals and KPIs for the sales team and regularly evaluate performance.
Requirements:
- Female gender is preferred for this position.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 5 years of experience in sales or business development, with at least 2 years in the fintech or financial services sector.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian fintech ecosystem, including customer needs, industry trends, and regulatory environment.
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Additional skills:
- Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce, Zoho, or HubSpot.
- Analytical skills with a strong business sense to identify opportunities and anticipate market changes.
- Ability to travel within Nigeria for client meetings and industry events.

Remuneration: NGN 250,000 - 400,000
