Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory on the shelves on a first-in first-out (FIFO) basis.
  • Ensure that there are no expired and obsolete products on the shelves.
  • Ensure the inventory shelves are clean at all times.
  • Assist customers in selecting items from the shelf.
  • Communicate out-of-stock items to the Store Manager and follow up for requisition from Head office.
  • Attend to other functions assigned by the Store Supervisor and Manager.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months working in a supermarket
  • A commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
