Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced security consultant.
The Security Consultant will assess, develop, and implement security strategies to safeguard an organization’s information, assets, and systems from potential threats.
The role involves conducting security audits, identifying vulnerabilities, and providing solutions to enhance security measures.
The Security Consultant will work closely with IT teams, management, and clients to ensure that all security practices comply with industry standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

Perform regular security assessments, audits, and vulnerability tests to identify weaknesses in systems, networks, and applications.
Analyze existing security policies, processes, and controls to ensure they meet industry standards and compliance requirements.
Develop comprehensive security strategies and frameworks to address identified security gaps.
Propose and implement security tools, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems (IDS) to protect organizational data and assets.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and trends, advising on changes that may affect the organization's security posture.
Stay informed about the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technology trends to advise the organization proactively.
Identify, assess, and prioritize security vulnerabilities within the organization's systems.
Collaborate with development teams to fix identified security flaws and vulnerabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security consulting.
Hands-on experience in conducting security audits, risk assessments, and penetration testing.
Proven experience in implementing security policies and frameworks across various systems.
Strong understanding of network security, application security, cloud security, and data protection.
Familiarity with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), encryption, SIEM, and anti-malware tools.
Proficiency in penetration testing tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Kali Linux, Metasploit).
Knowledge of cryptography techniques and tools.
