Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Senior UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience and visual design of our platform.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to create intuitive and visually appealing designs that resonate with our diverse user base.

Key Responsibilities

User Research & Analysis: Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand user needs and pain points.
UI/UX Design: Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces using Figma, ensuring consistency and alignment with our brand identity.
Visual Assets Creation: Create high-quality illustrations, icons, images, and micro animations to enhance the user experience.
Prototype Development: Develop interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas and gather feedback.
Design Systems: Establish and maintain a comprehensive design system and style guide for the platform.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to ensure design feasibility and implementation fidelity.
User-Centric Approach: Advocate for the user in all aspects of design, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously enhance the platform’s UI/UX.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
Experience: 3+ years of professional UI/UX design experience, preferably in the edtech or related industry.
Proficiency in Figma: Expert knowledge ofFigmafor designing and prototyping.
Illustration Skills: Strong ability to create custom illustrations, icons, and graphics.
Animation Skills: Experience in creating micro animations and interactive elements to enhance user engagement.
Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design work, including web and mobile applications.
User Research Skills: Proficient in conducting user research and translating insights into design solutions.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate design decisions and rationale.
Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to Detail: Strong eye for aesthetics and meticulous attention to detail.
Passion: A genuine interest in education, language learning, and cultural empowerment.

What We Offer

Salary: N500,000 - N600,000 per month
