Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, receipts, and deliveries.
- Organize and store inventory in an orderly and accessible manner.
- Monitor stock usage and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely replenishment.
- Conduct regular stock counts and prepare inventory reports.
- Ensure the proper handling, storage, and labeling of goods to maintain quality standards.
- Oversee the receipt and verification of incoming supplies and materials.
- Coordinate with suppliers to resolve discrepancies or issues with deliveries.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize loss or damage.
Requirements
- Educational background in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields is an advantage.
- Proven experience as a Store Officer or in a similar inventory management role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other inventory-related software.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items when necessary.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
