Job Title: Structural Electrical Engineer

Location: Isheri, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Senior Electrical Engineer, Engineering Manager, or Project Manager
Working schedule: Mondays to Fridays (8 am-5 pm)

Job Summary

• Design, develop, and oversee the installation of electrical systems for buildings, bridges, and other structures.
• Ensure that electrical systems are safe, efficient, and meet relevant codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design and Development: Design electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and communication systems.
• Structural Analysis: Analyze structural integrity and ensure that electrical systems are properly integrated into the building or structure.
• Code Compliance: Ensure that electrical systems meet relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Project Management: Oversee the installation of electrical systems, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
• Collaboration: Work with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that electrical systems are properly integrated into the overall project.
• Testing and Commissioning: Test and commission electrical systems to ensure that they are functioning properly and safely.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including designs, calculations, and test reports.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field with 1-3 years experience.
• Age range: 22-30
• Structural Analysis Knowledge: Familiarity with structural analysis principles and software.
• Electrical Engineering Knowledge: Proficiency in electrical engineering principles, including power distribution, lighting, and communication systems.
• Software Skills: Familiarity with electrical engineering software, such as ETAP, SKM, or Autodesk Revit.
• Communication: Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Work Environment:

• Office: Typically work in an office environment, with frequent visits to project sites.
• Construction Site: May work on construction sites, overseeing the installation of electrical systems.
• Laboratory: May work in a laboratory setting, testing and debugging and electrical systems.

Salary
N200,000 monthly.
