Job Description
- We are looking for a Supervisor who will oversee daily operations of both the bar and kitchen, ensuring that service runs smoothly and efficiently and resolve any emerging problems that our customer or guest might face with accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Ensure optimum customer experience
- Monitor the interaction between front line staff and customers
- Supervise floor staff, bartenders, and kitchen staff during shifts, ensuring they adhere to service standards and procedures.
- Address any operational issues that arise during service, solving them in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure that the bar and restaurant are set up properly before opening and that closing procedures are followed.
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Supervise and support the bar and restaurant staff during shifts, ensuring that they maintain high levels of professionalism and service quality.
- Assist in training new employees and providing on-the-job coaching to improve staff performance.
- Schedule staff shifts in coordination with the Manager to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak hours.
- Monitor staff behavior and adherence to company policies, addressing any performance issues with guidance and feedback
- Take the extra mile to engage customers
- Escalate issues to the appropriate authority at a timely pace
Skills / Requirements
- High school diploma
- Proven experience as a Supervisor in the hospitality industry
- Strong and active listening skills
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt and respond to different types of characters and situations
- Excellent communication Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time and floor staff effectively.
Salary
N80,000 / month.
