The Technical Sales Manager will play a key role in driving sales by providing technical expertise, building strong customer relationships, and delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and manage relationships with prospective clients in target industries.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Lead negotiations and close sales contracts with a strong focus on meeting customer needs and ensuring satisfaction.
- Provide technical expertise on machinery and equipment to clients, helping them select the best solutions for their requirements.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for clients.
- Troubleshoot product issues and work closely with the technical team to provide effective solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and industry trends.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide insights for product positioning and pricing.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field; technical background is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales, ideally within the machinery or technical equipment industry.
- Strong technical understanding of machinery, tools, or equipment solutions for industries such as construction, mining, and agriculture.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing successful sales strategies.
- Experience in selling construction equipment, like Drilling Machine, Grinder, Sander etc.
- Candidates must have experience selling machines for Bosch, Mantrac etc.
