We help manage school’s finances, ensure increased cash in-flow and reduce operational cost. Job Title: Upper Primary Teacher
Location: Ajah, Ketu - Lagos

Job Description
- As an Upper Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for educating students in key subjects such as Mathematics, English Language, Science, Social Studies, and other core curriculum areas.
- You will foster an engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and academic achievement.
- Your role will include lesson planning, classroom management, student assessment, and collaborating with colleagues and parents to ensure the holistic development of each child.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Nigerian curriculum.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and strategies to engage students and accommodate different learning styles.
- Assess and monitor students' progress through regular assignments, tests, and observations.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes discipline and respect.
- Provide timely feedback to students on their academic performance and personal development.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Collaborate with other teachers to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Organize extracurricular activities and contribute to school events as required.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about student progress and well-being.
- Maintain professional development through ongoing training and learning.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed), Primary Education, or related field.
- A teaching qualification (e.g., NCE, PGDE) is a plus.
- At least 2-3 years of teaching experience, preferably in upper primary school grades.
- Strong knowledge of the Nigerian and British curriculum and educational frameworks.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to handle diverse classroom settings.
- Proficient in the use of educational technology to enhance teaching and learning.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Passion for teaching and helping students succeed academically and personally.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to diverse classroom challenges.

- Must have a clear criminal background check and be able to provide references.
- A positive, enthusiastic, and flexible attitude towards teaching and school life.
