Job Description
We are seeking a skilled VFFS Machine Operator/Technician to manage and maintain Vertical Form Fill Seal (VFFS) machines in our packaging line. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operations, resolve technical issues, and uphold quality standards in line with manufacturing protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate the VFFS machine by loading materials, setting parameters, and monitoring production to meet specifications.
- Inspect the quality of filled and sealed products, ensuring correct weight, seal integrity, and appearance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues such as jams, misfeeds, and uneven fills to minimize production downtime.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs, to maintain optimal machine performance.
- Follow all safety protocols and industry standards for food safety, quality, and packaging guidelines.
Experience and Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of experience operating and maintaining Vertical Form Fill Seal (VFFS) machines.
- Strong understanding of packaging processes, materials, and quality control standards.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues promptly.
- Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy packages as required.
- Minimum educational qualification: SSCE.
