JOb Description
- We're seeking a friendly, attentive, and efficient Waiter / Waitressto join our restaurant team.
- As a Waiter/Waitress, you'll provide exceptional customer service, ensure seamless dining experiences, and contribute to our restaurant's success.
Responsibilities
- Greet and serve customers, taking orders and delivering food and beverages.
- Provide menu knowledge, recommendations, and answer questions.
- Manage tables, ensuring prompt and attentive service.
- Process transactions, handle cash and credit transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues.
- Follow restaurant policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Upsell and promote menu items, specials, and loyalty programs.
- Maintain knowledge of menu, ingredients, and allergens.
Qualifications
- OND/NCE
- Experience:2-3years
- Previous experience as a waiter/server in a restaurant.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash.
- Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant software.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Desirable Qualities:
- Previous experience in fine dining or upscale casual restaurants.
- Wine, beer, or cocktail knowledge.
Salary
N70,000 / Month.
