We have 60 luxury rooms which come standard with in-room tea/coffee making facilities and turn down packages. Facilities at Protea Hotel Lagos Kuramo Waters include complimentary Wi-Fi access, a gym, swimming pool, restaurant and bar.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Waiter / Cashier
Location: Victoria Island (Oniru Road), Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Slot: 3 Openings
Responsibilities
- Greet Guest: Welcome and seat guests.
- Taking orders:Taking food and drink orders from customers.
- Serving food and beverages:Delivering food and beverages to customers on time.
- Answering questions:Answering customer questions about the menu and recipes.
- Handling payments:Handling cash or card payments.
- Setting tables:Keeping the dining area clean and tidy after use and set up for next use.
- Ensuring guest satisfaction:Handling any complaints and making sure guests are happy.
- Adhering to timing standards:Ensuring hot food is hot and cold food is cold.
- Making recommendations and upselling menu:Making menu recommendationsin other to upsell and
- Preparing bills:Preparing the bill that itemizes total meal costs and sales taxes
Requirements
- Previous experience in food and beverage service is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proximity to VI is highly preferred.
